2.      Set realistic goals, stay focused, and don’t get discouraged. Keep a positive attitude and know that          you will achieve them. Slow and steady wins the race and there is really no substitute for doing          things the right way.


3.      Pay attention to what you are eating and drinking: watch your calories, but do not be excessive;          remember your food groups focus on high fiber and low fat; avoid soft drinks and drink plenty of          water.

4.      Stay away from quick fixes and seek out good nutritional supplements.


5.      Get active, exercise and have fun!


6.      Take pride in yourself - your body and your health are the most important things you have!
